Expert Complex PTSD Evaluations in Oregon, WI

Maybe a voice in the back of your mind still insists you are too much, or never quite enough, no matter what you accomplish. Maybe years that stayed hard left a mark on how you trust and how you feel. Complex PTSD Evaluations in Oregon, WI help you understand where that came from, with care and without judgment. No referral is needed to begin.

CPTSD Assessment for Adults and Adolescents

Each evaluation opens with a baseline of your cognitive and executive function, the foundation we build from, then layers in trauma focused and emotional measures chosen for your story. One licensed psychologist stays with the whole process, moving at a pace your history has earned, and screens for the concerns that often travel alongside complex trauma.

What Our CPTSD Evaluation Includes

CPTSD Evaluation Support

This is a careful, trauma informed evaluation that makes sense of what prolonged or repeated hardship has left behind. It separates complex PTSD from the concerns it can resemble, then turns everything we learn into recommendations you can actually use as you move forward.

Who May Benefit From a CPTSD Evaluation

in Children, Teens, and Adults

Children

In younger children, we look gently at how ongoing stress or instability is showing up, in sleep, mood, or how safe they feel, rather than hurrying toward a label. The goal is to understand what settles them and what still feels out of reach.

Teens

A teen carrying complex trauma may swing between emotional extremes, speak about themselves with surprising harshness, and keep others at arm’s length. Their guardedness usually makes sense once you know what they have lived through, and that context guides the whole evaluation.

Adults

For adults, it can look like a steady undercurrent of shame or worthlessness, feelings that run hot or shut down entirely, and relationships that feel hard to trust. Many describe never quite feeling safe, with the effects spilling into work, home, and health.

Why choose us

Why Choose Core Spring Diagnostics for CPTSD Evaluations

At Core Spring Diagnostics, the same psychologist stays with you from the first conversation to the last, so trust has room to grow instead of resetting with each hand off. Nothing is passed to a psychometrist. The evaluation is individualized and trauma informed, with no rigid session counts and no clock rushing you. You set the pace.

Our Evaluation Process

Step 1: Initial Consultation and History Review

We begin with about an hour of unhurried conversation, where your psychologist gathers a full personal history in a setting built to feel safe. Because complex PTSD grows out of experiences that repeated or lasted, this talk reaches across a longer timeline to see how they shaped your emotions, your relationships, and your sense of who you are. You set the pace throughout.

Step 2: Multi Session Testing Battery

From there, your psychologist assembles a battery chosen for the layered effects of complex trauma, typically 2 to 6 hours of in person work spread across one to two days. You will take home self report questionnaires, and someone close to you is welcome to complete their own. Any signs of related conditions, such as anxiety, depression, dissociation, or ADHD, are screened for as they surface.

Step 3: Comprehensive Report

Your psychologist gathers the testing data, clinical observations, and questionnaire results into one detailed diagnostic report. It examines how complex trauma has touched your emotional regulation, identity, relationships, and thinking, and documents any co occurring conditions so the clinical picture is complete.

Step 4: Feedback and Personalized Recommendations

Roughly two to three weeks later, you come back for a feedback session. Your psychologist walks you through the findings in plain language and offers individualized recommendations, from specialized trauma therapy to emotional regulation strategies and relationship support, each tied to your own path toward healing.
