Adult Autism Evaluations
You have spent a lifetime feeling a little different and quietly working around it. An adult autism evaluation gives you real answers and the language to finally make sense of your own experience. No referral needed to begin.
Adult Autism Evaluation

What Is Autism?

Autism is a difference in how the brain processes social information, sensory input, and change. In adults it often goes unrecognized, especially in women and people assigned female at birth, who are more frequently missed or misdiagnosed.
Maybe you have masked for so long that you no longer know where the performance ends and you begin. Maybe social situations leave you wrung out and needing hours alone to recover. Maybe the childhood quirks everyone brushed off, the intense interests, the need for routine, the sense of watching other people from the outside, are starting to look like something with a name. An adult autism evaluation looks honestly at your history and how you experience the world now, then tells you clearly whether autism explains it. You can reach out directly, with no referral needed.

Why choose us

Why Choose Core Spring for Autism Evaluations?

At Core Spring Diagnostics, one psychologist stays with you from the first interview through the feedback session, using gold standard tools such as the ADOS-2 and a neuroaffirming approach. The pace is individualized and boutique, with no rigid session counts, and every evaluation starts from a baseline of cognitive and executive function, then screens for the conditions that often accompany adult autism, so you leave understanding the full picture rather than a single label.

Focused Expertise in Autism Diagnostics

We specialize in autism evaluations across all ages, using gold standard tools and a neuroaffirming approach tailored to each individual’s unique profile.

Evaluation Process

Step 1: Initial Consultation and History Review

Your evaluation begins with a one hour clinical interview where your psychologist gathers a complete personal history, from childhood experiences through your current daily life. Many adults seeking an autism evaluation have spent years wondering why certain things feel harder or different for them, and this conversation creates the foundation for identifying which assessments will be most revealing.

Step 2: Multi Session Testing Battery

Based on your clinical interview, your psychologist selects a personalized battery of autism specific assessments. Testing involves 2 to 6 hours of in person evaluation over one to two days. You may also be sent home with self report questionnaires, and if you choose, someone close to you (a partner, parent, or close friend) can complete their own questionnaire to provide additional perspective. Screeners for ADHD and executive function are included as standard, since these commonly co occur with autism.

Step 3: Comprehensive Report

Your psychologist compiles all testing data, clinical observations, and questionnaire results into a detailed diagnostic report. Any co occurring conditions identified during the evaluation (ADHD, anxiety, depression, or other concerns) are fully documented so you leave with a complete understanding of your neurodivergent profile.

Step 4: Feedback and Personalized Recommendations

Approximately two to three weeks after testing, you return for a feedback session. Your psychologist walks through the diagnosis and provides individualized recommendations: practical strategies for work and daily life, therapy or coaching resources, workplace accommodations guidance, and next steps tailored to your specific situation.
