Comprehensive Neuropsychological Evaluation
When the picture is bigger than any single label, a comprehensive neuropsychological evaluation looks at everything at once: attention, mood, behavior, anxiety, learning, and how it all fits together, with one psychologist connecting the dots. No referral needed to begin.
Comprehensive Neuropsychological Evaluation

What Is a Comprehensive Neuropsychological Evaluation?

A comprehensive neuropsychological evaluation at Core Spring is our most complete assessment: every Core Spring evaluation brought together into one. It is a behavioral and emotional evaluation, not a neurological or memory workup.
Maybe the school says ADHD, a friend wonders about autism, and you keep coming back to the anxiety. Maybe your child struggles in ways that never fit neatly into one box. Maybe you have done evaluation after evaluation and still feel like no one has looked at the whole person. This evaluation looks at attention, learning, mood, anxiety, and behavior side by side rather than one at a time, so you finally understand how everything is connected. You can reach out directly, with no referral needed.

Why choose us

Why Choose Core Springs for Neuropsychological Evaluation?

At Core Spring Diagnostics, one psychologist stays with your case from the first conversation through the feedback session, so nothing about you gets handed off or lost between providers. The pace is individualized, with no rigid session counts, and the evaluation starts from a baseline of how you think and function, then opens out to the behavior, mood, anxiety, attention, and learning concerns that brought you here. Because this is the all in one, every evaluation screens broadly for the conditions that tend to co occur, so the result is one connected understanding of the whole person, not five separate opinions.

What Sets Our Approach Apart

We don’t just test, we listen. Every evaluation is personalized, with integrated tools that provide a complete picture of the individual.

Evaluation Process

Step 1: Initial Consultation and History Review

Your evaluation begins with a one hour clinical interview where your psychologist gathers a complete history, from developmental milestones and childhood experiences through your current cognitive, emotional, and daily functioning. This broad conversation is essential because a neuropsychological evaluation looks at the full picture, and your psychologist uses this information to build a customized testing plan.

Step 2: Multi Session Testing Battery

Your psychologist selects a comprehensive battery spanning cognitive function, executive function, memory, attention, emotional functioning, and adaptive skills. Testing involves 2 to 6 hours of in person evaluation over one to two days. For concerns that include learning differences, an in house learning disability specialist provides additional targeted assessments. You are also sent home with questionnaires, and individuals closely involved in your life can complete their own to provide additional clinical context.

Step 3: Comprehensive Report

All testing data from every domain (cognitive, emotional, academic, adaptive) are compiled into a detailed diagnostic report. This is the most thorough evaluation Core Spring offers, designed to identify the full range of conditions that may be present, whether that is ADHD, autism, learning disabilities, mood disorders, trauma related conditions, or a combination.

Step 4: Feedback and Personalized Recommendations

Approximately two to three weeks after testing, you return for a feedback session. Your psychologist walks through every finding and provides individualized recommendations across all identified areas: therapy options, academic or workplace accommodations, lifestyle strategies, and a clear roadmap for next steps.
