The evaluation starts with roughly an hour of unhurried conversation. Your psychologist listens for the shape of your emotional history, from your earliest years to your present days, and together you trace the triggers, the recurring conflicts, and how they touch your work and relationships, which points toward the right measures.
From there, a testing battery is assembled to fit the person's age and presentation, generally 2 to 6 hours of face to face work across one to two days. Where it adds insight, teachers and family fill out questionnaires, and ADHD and executive function screeners are included by default.
Every score, observation, and questionnaire response is synthesized into one thorough, plain spoken report. Anything co occurring that emerges, whether anxiety, sensory processing differences, or something else, is named and addressed so nothing is left hanging.
Roughly two to three weeks on, you come back for feedback. Your psychologist explains the findings clearly and sends you off with individualized recommendations spanning home and school strategies, therapy resources, and accommodation guidance.
Not at all. Core Spring Diagnostics never requires a referral to be seen. You are welcome to schedule directly, and we will coordinate with a pediatrician or outside provider only when you specifically want that.
