Professional Anxiety Evaluations in DeForest, WI

Maybe your world has quietly grown smaller: invitations declined, a drive you now avoid, a child who has stopped raising a hand in class. Anxiety often works like that, shrinking life a little at a time until you notice how much you have sidestepped. Our Anxiety Evaluations in DeForest, WI help you understand the avoidance and what is fueling it, and no referral is needed to start.

Anxiety Evaluations for Kids, Teens, and Adults

Like all of our evaluations, this one begins from a baseline of cognitive and executive function, then adds anxiety and emotional measures fitted to your situation. One licensed psychologist stays with the process the whole way through and screens for the concerns anxiety often masks, so the conclusions rest on the full picture rather than a fragment.

What Our Anxiety Evaluation Includes

Anxiety Evaluation Support

The point is not just a name for what you feel. It is a clear read on what you are experiencing, an honest look at what else may be behind it, and a set of usable recommendations pointing toward the support most likely to help you reclaim the ground anxiety has taken.

Who May Benefit From an Anxiety Evaluation

in Children, Teens, and Adults

Children

In children, avoidance is often the loudest signal: sidestepping school, activities, or new situations that used to be fine. Alongside it you may see stomachaches, headaches, disrupted sleep, separation fears, and a perfectionism that makes trying something new feel too risky.

Teens

Teens may pull back from social events, hangouts, or class participation, while worry runs underneath. Irritability, difficulty concentrating, physical tension, and a self critical voice that never lets up can all be part of it, even when they insist they simply were not interested.

Adults

For adults, avoidance can look like a steadily narrowing routine: fewer commitments, postponed calls, roads or errands quietly written off. Underneath sits constant low grade worry, racing thoughts, restless sleep, and a mind that seems always braced for whatever might go wrong next.

Why choose us

Why Choose Core Spring Diagnostics for Anxiety Evaluations

With Core Spring Diagnostics, the same psychologist is there from the first conversation to the final feedback, so nothing gets lost in a handoff. Because anxiety so rarely appears on its own, we look at the whole of it, and the pace stays individualized, guided by what you need rather than a rigid schedule of sessions.

Our Evaluation Process

Step 1: Initial Consultation and History Review

Your evaluation opens with about an hour of focused conversation, your psychologist assembling a thorough history of your emotional life from childhood to the present. Identifying the triggers, the patterns, and what you have been avoiding is what guides the choice of assessments to follow.

Step 2: Personalized Testing Battery

From there, your psychologist designs a testing battery around your needs, typically 2 to 6 hours of in person evaluation over one to two days. You will take home self report questionnaires, and someone close to you can fill out one of their own. If signs of ADHD, depression, or trauma related concerns come up, those are screened for as well.

Step 3: Comprehensive Report

The testing data, clinical observations, and questionnaire results are woven into a detailed diagnostic report. Any co occurring conditions found during the process are laid out clearly, so you leave with a complete and understandable account of what is driving the avoidance and the worry.

Step 4: Feedback and Personalized Recommendations

Roughly two to three weeks afterward, you come back for a feedback session. Your psychologist walks you through the results and offers individualized recommendations: coping strategies, therapy options such as CBT, medication guidance where it applies, and practical next steps for widening your world again.
