IQ & Cognitive Function Testing in McFarland, WI

Maybe you have spent your whole life sensing that your mind works differently, sharp in ways people notice and quietly effortful in ways they do not. Maybe you are ready to stop wondering and actually see the shape of it. IQ & Cognitive Function Testing in McFarland, WI puts real language to how you think, learn, and process. No referral is needed to get started.

Cognitive Function Testing Beyond a Single Score

Here the process is led start to finish by one licensed psychologist, from the first conversation through testing to the feedback session. Rather than stopping at a number, the evaluation examines how you reason, how fast you process, what you hold in working memory, and how you plan, then centers on the questions that brought you in. Whatever else surfaces, such as ADHD or an anxiety pattern, is screened for along the way.

What Our IQ & Cognitive Function Evaluation Includes

IQ & Cognitive Function Evaluation & Support

Adults often reach this point after years of half answers, finally wanting the full read. The evaluation clarifies where your strengths genuinely lie, where things have quietly been harder, and what that means in practice, for a degree program, a career move, or simply understanding yourself with more accuracy.

Recognizing the Signs of Giftedness and Cognitive Differences

Across ALl Ages

Children

Even in kids, the pattern that adults recognize in hindsight is visible: milestones reached early or unevenly, deep focus on a narrow interest, boredom in class, and questions well ahead of their age. Often there is a striking distance between what a child can clearly do and what shows up on paper.

Teens

For teens, it can read as ability the grades never capture, a scatter of marks that do not match potential, and real uncertainty about advanced classes. Some want a clearer sense of their strengths before committing to a major decision about their schooling.

Adults

Adults most often want to finally understand their own profile, to make sense of a lifelong mix of standout strengths and stubborn struggles. Some are answering a giftedness question carried since childhood; others need documentation of how they think for university or workplace planning.

Why choose us

Why Choose Core Spring Diagnostics for IQ & Cognitive Function Evaluations

For an evaluation, Core Spring Diagnostics keeps one licensed psychologist on your case from start to finish, so nothing is handed off and nothing is lost between people. The tools are gold standard and read with genuine care, the process takes the time it needs rather than a fixed count of sessions, and you leave understanding how your mind works and what to do with that understanding.

Our Evaluation Process

Step 1: History and First Conversation

We begin with about an hour of talking. Your psychologist collects a detailed background, from your earliest school memories to the questions driving you now, and uses it to clarify the aim of testing and choose the measures most likely to answer it.

Step 2: A Personalized Round of Testing

Informed by the interview, your psychologist builds a testing plan tuned to your goals. In person work typically spans 2 to 6 hours over one or two days, with questionnaires to complete at home. Depending on the question, processing speed, memory, executive function, or adaptive measures may be included.

Step 3: Bringing the Data Together

Test results, clinical observations, and questionnaire responses are integrated into a single detailed report covering intellectual ability, real strengths, processing patterns, and any areas worth attention. Anything else that surfaces during testing, from ADHD to a learning difference, is written in rather than glossed over.

Step 4: Answers and a Path Forward

About two to three weeks afterward, you return for a feedback session. Your psychologist walks you through the findings in clear language and provides recommendations shaped to you: strategies that leverage your strengths, accommodations where relevant, guidance for school or work, and concrete next steps.
