ADHD Evaluations That Go Deeper Than a Checklist

One psychologist owns the entire process from interview through feedback, with no handoffs. We also assess how these challenges impact academic, professional, and daily functioning, and screen for common comorbidities such as anxiety, learning disorders, and mood concerns so the picture stays full.

Across All Ages

Children

In children it often looks like a short fuse and big feelings, trouble staying seated, missed steps in directions, lost belongings, and schoolwork that swings between excellent and incomplete.

Teens

In teens it can look like chronic procrastination, scattered assignments, quick frustration, forgotten due dates, social distraction, and grades that drop as expectations rise.

Adults

In adults it can look like missed deadlines, disorganization that never quite resolves, forgetfulness, restlessness, impulsive decisions, and years of underperforming relative to real potential.

Why choose us

Why Choose Core Spring Diagnostics for ADHD Evaluation

One psychologist owns your entire evaluation from interview through feedback, using gold-standard tools to understand attention, behavior, and executive function. No referral needed to begin. We carefully differentiate ADHD from anxiety, mood-related concerns, sleep issues, trauma, and learning disorders. This ensures accurate diagnosis and clear, individualized recommendations you can actually act on.

Evaluation Process

Mental Wellness and Growth
Step 1: Initial Consultation and History Review

Your evaluation begins with a one-hour clinical interview where your psychologist gathers a thorough background, from childhood through your day-to-day life today. This conversation helps identify the specific patterns, challenges, and history that inform which ADHD-specific assessments will be most effective for your situation.

Mental Wellness and Growth
Step 2: Multi-Session Testing Battery

Based on your clinical interview, your psychologist selects a personalized battery of ADHD-focused assessments. Testing involves 2 to 6 hours of in-person evaluation over one to two days. You will also be sent home with questionnaires, and individuals closely involved in your life (parents, teachers, or partners) can receive their own questionnaires to provide additional perspective on attention, focus, and executive function patterns.

Mental Wellness and Growth
Step 3: Comprehensive Report

Your psychologist compiles all testing data, clinical observations, and questionnaire results into a detailed diagnostic report. If anything else surfaces during the evaluation (such as anxiety, depression, or other co-occurring conditions), those findings are included so nothing gets overlooked.

Mental Wellness and Growth
Step 4: Feedback & Personalized Recommendations

Approximately two to three weeks after testing, you return for a feedback session. This is where you receive your diagnosis along with individualized recommendations: practical strategies for home, school, or work, resources for therapy or coaching, medication guidance if applicable, and next steps tailored to your specific needs.

Many adults were not identified as children and have developed coping strategies that mask the underlying patterns.

Every evaluation includes comorbidity screening for anxiety, depression, learning differences, and other conditions that can mimic or co-occur with ADHD. The cognitive and executive function baseline helps the psychologist determine whether attention difficulties are driven by ADHD, another condition, or both.

Core Spring Diagnostics uses standardized ADHD-specific measures alongside cognitive and executive function tests, behavior rating scales from multiple observers, and structured clinical interviewing. The combination of tools is individualized based on the person’s age and presenting concerns.
