Professional Executive Function Evaluations in Middleton, WI

Perhaps your child builds a perfect planner in September and abandons it by October, or perhaps you have tried every app and color coded system only to watch each one quietly fall apart. When effort keeps outpacing results, an executive function evaluation in Middleton, WI can show you why. Reaching out takes no referral.

Executive Function Testing and Assessment

An Executive Function Evaluation begins from a shared baseline of cognitive and executive function and then bends toward the particular problem you are living with. The same licensed psychologist handles intake, testing, the report, and the feedback, so nothing gets handed off midway. Since executive struggles usually overlap with other things, the evaluation also screens for ADHD, anxiety, and learning differences across children, teens, and adults.

What Our Executive Function Evaluation Includes

Executive Function Evaluation Support

Rather than a verdict, you get a detailed picture of where organization, attention, memory, and follow through actually break down, matched with strategies that fit real life at school, at work, and at home. The recommendations are things you can put into practice, not a reminder to be more disciplined.

Who May Benefit From an Executive Function Evaluation

Across All Ages

Children

Multi step directions rarely make it to the end, and finished worksheets vanish somewhere between the desk and the folder. Getting started is a hurdle of its own, small belongings disappear constantly, and a swapped plan can set off a meltdown that seems out of proportion to what changed.

Teens

Assignments pile up unfinished, digital files and lockers fall into chaos, and results lag behind obvious ability. Deadlines catch your teen off guard again and again, and juggling several demands at once tends to end with the most important thing left undone.

Adults

Clutter and loose ends have become the norm, deciding what matters most feels genuinely difficult, and commitments slip through the cracks. Projects get started with real enthusiasm and rarely reach the finish line, and ordinary upkeep drains far more energy than it seems like it should.

Why choose us

Why Choose Core Spring Diagnostics for Executive Function Evaluations

Because a single psychologist stays with you throughout, the person interpreting your results is the same person who took the time to understand you. There are no set session counts and no fixed clock; the process moves at the pace the person needs. Just as much weight lands on what you are good at as on what is hard, so your plan grows out of the strengths you already have.

Our Evaluation Process

Step 1: Getting Your History

The first step is roughly an hour of focused conversation in which your psychologist collects your full history, from early development and schooling to the concerns front of mind today. Together you clarify what the testing needs to answer, which shapes the measures that follow.

Step 2: A Tailored Testing Battery

Next your psychologist chooses a set of assessments tailored to your question. Expect 2 to 6 hours of in person testing spread over one to two days, with added measures of processing speed, memory, or executive skills when useful, plus take home questionnaires for a fuller view.

Step 3: Your Written Report

Every piece, the test data, the clinical observations, and the questionnaire responses, is assembled into a thorough report describing strengths, processing style, and any concerns. If ADHD, anxiety, or a learning difference emerges during the process, those findings are captured as well.

Step 4: Feedback and Next Steps

About two to three weeks on, you come back for a feedback meeting. Your psychologist explains the results in clear terms and provides individualized recommendations, from concrete systems and accommodations to the next steps that make sense for where you want to go.

Got Questions? We’re Here to Answer

Not at all. Core Spring Diagnostics never requires a referral. You are welcome to contact us directly, for whatever reason brought you here, and we coordinate with any other providers only when you would like that.

The two overlap heavily. Executive function is a core part of ADHD, so we examine attention, planning, working memory, and self control in depth, while also screening for ADHD and for the anxiety and learning differences that can mimic it.

We assess the everyday skills behind planning, starting, organizing, remembering, and finishing, all set against a baseline of cognitive and executive function, and then link what the numbers show to what you notice in daily life.

Absolutely. Children, teens, and adults are all welcome. A number of our adult clients arrive after years of compensating quietly, often once a demanding job or a busy household finally overwhelms their usual tricks.

You leave with a plain language report and a feedback session centered on practical, individualized recommendations: the tools, structures, and accommodations suited to the way you actually think, along with clear next steps.

Reach our Madison office at (608) 396 4830 and we will get you scheduled. Remember, no referral is necessary to begin.
