Things begin with an hour long clinical interview in which your psychologist gathers the full background, from developmental and academic history to the concerns weighing on you now. The conversation clarifies what the testing is meant to answer and shapes which assessments will be most useful.
Your psychologist then selects a battery matched to you, generally 2 to 6 hours of in person testing over one to two days. Depending on what the referral question asks, we can add measures of executive function, processing speed, or memory, and questionnaires go home to supply further context.
The test data, the clinical observations, and the questionnaire results all flow into one detailed report outlining your strengths, your processing patterns, and any areas of concern. If ADHD, anxiety, or a learning difference turns up during testing, we set those findings down as well.
Some two to three weeks later, you come back for the feedback session. Your psychologist walks you through the results in plain language and provides individualized recommendations, from fitting accommodations to strengths based strategies and clearly defined next steps.
You do not. At Core Spring Diagnostics a referral is never a prerequisite. Feel free to contact us directly, for any reason, and we will coordinate with your other providers solely if that is what you want.
